The District Backward Classes Service Cooperative Society Ltd., YSR Kadapa District was established in 1976 with Regd.No.1323 with an objective of upliftment of Backward Classes people living below poverty line through implementation of various economic support schemes like Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, ISB (Industries, Service & Business), Minor Irrigation, Financial Assistance to 11 BC Federations and Construction of Dhobighats for Rajaka community.

The following schemes are being implemented by the society with Government subsidy component:

• BC Corporation Individual Self Employment Schemes- Margin Money (Rural areas) & BC Abhyudaya Yojana ( Urban areas)

ADARANA

The Government have decided to Re-launch ADARANA-II programme with the ultimate aim of contributing to increased income levels and to improve the living standards of the practicing artisans in Particular and all the BC communities in General.
Adarana being the flagship scheme for the Backward classes, aims to modernize the tools and technology of those who are pursuing traditional occupations such as cattle and sheep rearing, toddy tapping, earth works, fishing, weaving, goldsmithy, blacksmithy, brassmithy, carpentry, stone carving, laundry, pottery, oil pressing, basketry, hair dressing, tailoring and dyeing etc.
