AP State Housing Corporation Limited was constituted in 1979 under Companies Act, a techno financial Government owned company and served (40) years for providing Pucca houses to Weaker Sections.
The Chief objective of the organization is to enhance dignity, decency and decorum to each and every BPL family in the state by providing permanent house facilitating minimum basic needs of family.
AP State Housing Corporation Ltd., acts as nodal agency in implementation of centrally sponsored Housing schemes duly supplementing financial and technical assistance both in Rural and Urban areas.
Included as 8th Navarathna in the manifesto of present Government of A.P. with slogan of “Housing for all houseless poor”, Construction of 25 lakh houses in 5 years, registration of the houses in the name of sisters in the house on the same day of handing over and arrangement of loans from Bank@ 25 paise interest ( 2 to 5 lakhs).
The AP State Housing Corp. Ltd., has bagged several laurels in the long history of 40 years and facilitated construction of 4.89 lakhs in YSR Kadapa district.
Under the able guidance and direction of District Collector/Executive Director, a dedicated team of about 250 employees with administrative and technical trained skills assist beneficiaries facilitating timely payment, supervision, deploying services through APSHCL website headed by Project Director(H).
19,354 houses were completed during the year 2018-19 .
Largest number of houses were completed during the year 2008-09 (76,702 houses) in the district.
The organization, Kadapa team is ready with all its energies to fulfil the ambitions of Government goal of construction of houses to all the poor in Kadapa.
